What this covers
This policy explains what information we collect through indircc.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It applies to this website only, not to the systems or providers we may help you work with as a client.
Information you give us
When you use the Start a Conversation form or email us, we collect what you type: your name, organization, email address, phone number if you include it, and the description of what you’re trying to accomplish. We use it to reply to you, understand your situation, and follow up about working together. We don’t sell it, rent it, or add you to a marketing list you didn’t ask for.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical details when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and the time of your visit. This is used to keep the site running, secure, and improving.
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site in aggregate, for example which pages are visited most. Analytics does not receive your name, email, phone, or anything you type into a form. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on or by using your browser’s privacy settings.
Cookies
The site uses a small number of cookies needed for it to function and, if analytics is enabled, cookies that help us measure site traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
Who we share information with
We share information only with the service providers that make the website and our communication work, such as our web host, our email delivery service, and our form tool. They process it on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We may also share information if the law requires it or to protect the safety or rights of others.
If you become a client and ask us to coordinate with other providers on your behalf, we share only what’s needed for that work, and we’ll tell you who is involved.
How long we keep it
Form submissions and email correspondence are kept as long as needed to respond to you and to keep a record of the conversation, then deleted or archived. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing jwilkey@indircc.com. We’ll respond within a reasonable time. If you’d rather not fill out a form, you can call or email us directly.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including HTTPS encryption on the site, access controls on our accounts, and spam protection on our forms. No website can promise perfect security, and we’ll tell you if we learn that your information has been compromised in a way that affects you.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and organizations. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Links to other sites
The site may link to other websites, including providers we work with. Their privacy practices are their own; this policy doesn’t cover them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the effective date at the top. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
